I chose to serve on the M4M board because I believe deeply in helping families navigate crisis with dignity, faith, and community support. As an educator, Pastor, entrepreneur, and published author, my background reflects a lifelong commitment to empowering women, children, and families. My heart is to see hope and healing brought to those in need, and serving on this board allows me to extend that mission in a tangible way.

My name is Bonita, I began as a mentor, helping children with disabilities and behavioral challenges build confidence, develop life skills, and feel seen and valued. I later worked as a teacher and counselor in a court-ordered group home, where I supported youth through some of their most difficult moments and celebrated their progress and growth.
These experiences shaped my passion for advocacy, compassion, and creating opportunities for every child to succeed. As a board member, I’m committed to using my background, voice, and heart to help our organization continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
